    What are RoDTEP and RoSCTL?

    DGFT issues these duty credit e-scrips to exporters. They are transferable, so they can be sold for cash or used to pay customs duty.

    RoDTEP

    Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products

    Introduced from 1 January 2021 in place of MEIS. It refunds central, state and local duties and taxes inside exported goods that other schemes do not refund.

    RoSTEL

    Rebate of State and Central Taxes and Levies

    Mainly for garments and made-ups. It rebates the state and central taxes and levies embedded in these exports, paid out as duty credit scrips.

    HOW IT WORKS

    Four steps, whether you sell or buy

    Selling your scrips

    • Share KYC and scrip details
      PAN, IEC, ICEGATE ID, scrip number and value.
    • We verify and confirm the quote
      Scrip status and documents are checked first.
    • Advance payment
      Paid by RTGS or NEFT to your bank account.
    • Transfer and courier
      Move the e-scrip to our ICEGATE ID, then courier the original documents.

    Buying scrips

    • We share the documents
      Invoice and our KYC documents.
    • You pay by RTGS or NEFT
      To our verified bank account.
    • We transfer the e-scrip
      It lands in your ICEGATE account after payment.
    • Originals reach you
      We courier the original documents to you.

    Keep ready: company PAN, IEC, GSTIN, ICEGATE ID, scrip number and value, and a cancelled cheque or bank letter.
